Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Position: English Teacher (KS3 & KS4) Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our supportive and thriving secondary school in Doncaster on a temporary full-time basis. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and effective English lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum Use a variety of teaching strategies to support student learning and progress Assess, track, and report on student progress regularly Create a positive classroom environment with clear expectations and effective behaviour management Contribute to the wider school community and participate in departmental planning and meetings Support students in achieving their academic potential and personal development goals Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4) Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language Excellent classroom management skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) Why Join Us?
