We are seeking an experienced and diligent Groups and Events Reservations Agent to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for handling booking inquiries, providing accurate information and ensuring smooth reservation processes for all clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service. Key Requirements: Hospitality qualification with minimum 3 years’ experience as a Groups and Events Reservations Agent in a 4/5-star hotel environment. Professional, well-groomed appearance with a positive, service-driven attitude. Fluent in English (additional languages advantageous). Exceptional email and telephone etiquette. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask and operate efficiently under pressure. Excellent organizational, planning, and critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and efficiency in all areas of responsibility. Confident in managing conflict and resolving challenging situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera is essential. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required. Key Responsibilities: Handle incoming reservation calls and emails, capturing accurate booking information. Provide clients with details on availability, rates and packages. Process and confirm reservations, including special requests. Manage amendments, cancellations, no-shows and re-bookings. Maintain and update reservation records within the system. Liaise with clients, sales teams, and operational departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Allocate payments and complete daily banking tasks. Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring all clients feel valued and supported. Perform other duties as required to support operations.
