Job Description Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Elizabethton, TN (Onsite) Position Summary seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to support operations at our new Distribution Center. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials within the warehouse. This role demands adaptability, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming shipments. Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for outbound shipment. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or order pickers (training provided if needed). Accurately maintain records using ERP systems (e.g., SX.e) or RF scanners. Organize stock and maintain inventory accuracy. Follow instructions from shipping/production schedules or work orders. Consolidate freight, verify shipping routes, and handle oversized loads properly. Assist in cycle counts and full inventory audits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas. Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety rules and regulations. Flexibility to perform various warehouse functions (sorting, receiving, loading, etc.) as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred. Basic computer skills and/or RF scanner experience required. Willingness to learn equipment operation (forklift/order picker). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Strong attendance, punctuality, and work ethic. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Skills & Competencies Forklift or order picker operation (preferred or willing to train). Basic math and counting skills. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and documentation. Inventory control and material handling. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
