Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Transports customer's belongings from one location to another. General Accountabilities: Wrap items in a customer's home, ensuring items stay safe during the move. Loads the packed items into a moving truck or van. Safely drives to the customer's new home. Carefully moves the items into the new location. Disassembles and reassembles furniture items. Job Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: On-the-job training Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, Service orientation, Ability to lift at least 100 pounds Company Description We are a small business started in early 2023 offering Moving, Junk Removal, Furniture Delivery and more across Massachusetts and surrounding states. In just the first year, we have secured a Vendor ID at Harvard University and completed over 1,100 Jobs. We are continually growing and soon to be acquiring multiple service contracts. We are in search of Professional Movers who not only know the ins-and-outs of moving, but also have the customer service skills to deal with every type of customer from affluent Brookline Elderly couples to newly arrived international university students. We separate ourselves from other major moving companies by the personal aspect of our work. Our customers continue to call us back, unlike other companies, because they know and love that when HMC comes to help, we are going to make sure they are cared for and listened to!
