Purchasing Supervisor

We’re Hiring: Purchasing Supervisor – Are you a proactive leader with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for supply chain excellence? We’re looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to lead our team of material planners and ensure seamless supply chain execution across operations. This role is critical to maintaining inventory balance, preventing over-purchasing, and driving strategic alignment to meet production and customer demands. Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco Industry: Automotive / Industrial Manufacturing Function: Supply Chain / Purchasing / Operations ✨ What You’ll Do: Lead and coach a team of material planners Ensure material availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence Escalate supply risks with clarity and urgency Drive disciplined PO management and supplier follow-up Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, and operations Support NPI and engineering changes with timely material readiness Promote standardization and process adherence Balance short-term execution with long-term planning excellence What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 3–5 years in materials planning or purchasing (manufacturing preferred) Proven leadership and team development skills Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail ERP system proficiency Fluent in English and Spanish Key Traits: High Attention to Detail Strategic Thinker Resilient Under Pressure Ready to lead with impact and drive supply chain excellence?
