Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Description Job Description A respected Pacific Northwest law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney (4809) to join its dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex matters, including employment, business litigation, personal injury defense, commercial disputes, and real estate litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of litigation experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with a team. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in state and federal court in a range of litigation matters Conduct discovery, draft motions, and prepare briefs and other pleadings Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials Manage client communications and provide counseling throughout the litigation process Contribute to case strategy and collaborate closely with partners and associates Qualifications: Juris Doctor and active bar membership in Washington State Minimum 3 years of litigation experience (Seattle candidates must meet this threshold; Tacoma-based candidates may be considered with 1 year and a willingness to train in-office) Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to balance independent work with teamwork in a collaborative environment This full-time hybrid role can be based in either Tacoma or Seattle, with lesser experienced attorneys being based in Tacoma. Candidates must submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, and law school transcript (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).
