TravelNurseSource is working with MedCadre to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Columbus, Georgia, 31901! About The Position Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Description: Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Infants to Geriatrics (Primarily Adult RRT but will work with Pediatric intubated patients) Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, GA RRT License General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Midtown is a level 2 trauma center, interventional stroke certified as well as a level 3 NICU. Our NICU is also the regional transport resource. Manages non invasive ventilation, conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function tests, performs arterial lines, oxygen management, patient education, performs arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, draws from lines. Trauma experience required Pulmonary function testing (Spirometry testing) preferred Ratio / Census: Not specified Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, Viasys Vela, Client Carescape, Viaysis Avea Scrub Color: Slate Gray RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Yes, within facility and sister campus as needed (Piedmont Columbus Northside) Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year’s Eve and Day: Wednesday, December 31 and Thursday, January 1 Memorial Day: Monday, May 26 Independence Day: Friday, July 4 Labor Day: Monday, September 1 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 Christmas Eve and Day: Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25 Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. *Aya Offer* Aya Offer Information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation has been sent, manager has 48 hours to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines meets specific facility requirements*.
