Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy in Augusta, GA

Shift: Day 2x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00) Day 2x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00) Description: 2- Eight hour shifts and 2- Ten hour shifts, both starting at 0630 Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: ERCP - experience required, ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS Procedures, Colonoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) Ratio / Census: 1:2; 3 rooms, 11 beds with average daily census of 20 Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic Scrub Color: Royal Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: 2-3 weekends per contract Floating: None Call Requirements: 1-2 shift per week and at least 1 weekend every month Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year’s Eve and Day: Wednesday, December 31 and Thursday, January 1 Spring Break: April 6-April 12 (NO RTO) Memorial Day: Monday, May 26 Independence Day: Friday, July 4 Labor Day: Monday, September 1 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 Christmas Eve and Day: Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25 Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. CLINICAL SCREEN - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
