Schedule Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Job Description Join our Step Down Unit as a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, where you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for monitoring and caring for patients transitioning from higher acuity settings, ensuring both safety and comfort during their recovery process. Responsibilities Provide patient-centered care in a step down unit setting. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider. Monitor patient vitals and implement safety protocols. Conduct ECG rhythm recognition and participate in medication safety assessments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure MUST have 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel. MUST have 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience; travel experience will suffice. Current Ohio license or Compact State license required. AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
