We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting/Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team and help support our daily operations. Job Description: As an Accounting/Bookkeeping Clerk at Rinehart Oil in Ukiah California, you will be a key player in managing and analyzing daily fuel pricing, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions. Your role will primarily focus on Excel-based reporting, supporting various administrative and customer service functions within the company. Assist with general accounting duties, including reconciliation, data entry, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: Daily Fuel Pricing Management: Oversee and manage daily fuel pricing, ensuring accurate data input and adjustments in Excel. Bookkeeping: Assist with general accounting duties, including reconciliation, data entry, and financial reporting. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify discrepancies in financial data, resolve issues, and provide troubleshooting support. Billing Support: Assist with the preparation of customer billing statements and payment tracking. Customer Service Support: Provide administrative support for customer service inquiries and resolve account-related issues as needed. Administrative Projects: Support various administrative tasks, including maintaining environmental and compliance files, ensuring all documents are properly stored and accessible. Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across all teams. Qualifications: · Experience: Proven experience in accounting/bookkeeping or related field, with a strong background in Excel. · Accounting Software Experience: Previous experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) preferred. · Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency. · Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. · Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and customer interactions. · Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
