WSS Ltd – Warehouse Safety Solutions WSS is a leading Systems Integrator of Safety technology separating People from Mechanical Handling Equipment in Warehousing, Logistics, Manufacturing and Mass Transit environments. We take our clients on a journey using 3D scanning technology working with them to explore and establish how to improve safety. Our systems electrically and electronically integrate together and into our clients’ infrastructures. This role is pivotal in helping us and our clients translate their needs into detailed estimates and designs which we can take forward to install. Location: Office-Based – Warrenpoint or Portsmouth (Non-Remote Role) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm Salary: Highly competitive dependent on experience Join WSS's Operations Team as a Design Estimator We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Design Estimator to support our Sales Team with accurate project estimates and technical proposals. This role is vital in ensuring the successful design and costing of active safety systems across a range of projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare materials and labour take-offs. Create and distribute sales estimates and proposals. Collaborate with Sales and Project Fulfilment teams to assess risks. Analyse project specifications and produce detailed cost summaries. Ensure designs meet quality, regulatory, and health & safety standards. Generate system renders, wiring diagrams, and schematics for active safety projects. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 3 years’ experience in estimating, ideally within electrical installations. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. Experience with CAD, Revit or similar design software. Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills. Full clean driver’s licence (site visits may be required).
