AVP Business Analyst – Payments Transformation Location: Northampton (2 days per week onsite) Salary: Up to £60,000 20% bonus excellent benefits Our client is a leading global bank driving major change across its Payments division — building smarter, more connected systems that power digital transactions for millions of customers. They’re looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to join the Change the Bank (CTB) team within Payments Acquiring. This is a fast-moving delivery environment focused on technology-led change, everything from new API integrations to Salesforce-enabled solutions. You’ll play a key role in defining business requirements, translating them into functional designs, and working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to bring new capabilities to life. What you’ll be doing Leading analysis across IT change projects within the Payments business. Gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements. Collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver API integrations and system enhancements. Supporting solution design and ensuring delivery aligns with business goals and governance standards. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams — clearly communicating priorities, trade-offs, and progress. What you’ll bring Proven experience as a Business Analyst on technology or IT change projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to simplify complex ideas and build trusted relationships. Solid knowledge of delivery frameworks (Agile and/or Waterfall). Ability to analyse data, identify dependencies, and translate requirements into practical solutions. Strong understanding of API integrations or Salesforce platforms (highly desirable).
