Yard Person

MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Draperstown client who due to demand, they wish to recruit a Experienced Yard Person to join their growing team on a part time basis. 3 days per week Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Allocate and prepare stock for each teams workload. Pick and organise materials for jobs. Receive incoming deliveries, check documentation matches the goods received, and report any discrepancies to the Yard Manager. Store stock in its allocated space. Load vans with materials and unload vans of waste materials. Carry out van stock checks to ensure correct materials are available. Operate a forklift to move stock safely (training provided if necessary). Carry out van driving duties as required. Conduct weekly/fortnightly vehicle checks and complete relevant documentation. Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe yard and storage sheds. Essential Criteria: Must be at least 25 years old (for insurance purposes). Current forklift licence preferred, or willingness to undertake training. Full UK driving licence. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible and proactive attitude. Skills: Yard Person Forklift Licence Stock Control Van driving Full driving licence
