Occupational Therapist – Neuro Rehab York £31,000 - £38,000 per annum 35 hours per week Compass Associates is proud to be working with a well-regarded provider of specialist neurorehabilitation services to recruit an Occupational Therapist for their inpatient service in York. The service is a 36-bed independent hospital offering neurobehavioral assessment and post-acute rehabilitation for adults with non-progressive ABI. The focus is on enabling people to achieve their personal goals, regain independence, and enhance their social and emotional wellbeing. The hospital has been purpose-built to support rehabilitation, with facilities including assisted living kitchens and laundry rooms, a fully equipped therapy gym, sensory spaces, arts and music activity rooms, and landscaped therapy gardens. You will be part of a committed multidisciplinary team working alongside Psychiatrists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers, Psychologists and more. Role Provide occupational therapy within a neurobehavioral framework, helping people with acquired brain injury to rebuild daily living skills and independence. Manage and prioritise a caseload of individuals with complex physical, psychological, and behavioural needs, with support from a senior OT. Deliver the full OT pathway: assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation, using evidence-based and person-centred approaches. Support service quality and governance, including risk assessments, supervision, and the ongoing development of therapy programmes.
