We're seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our client based in Huddersfield, supporting the business with a broad range of HR responsibilities and managing one direct report. About the RoleAs the HR Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering effective HR support across the organisation. You'll be responsible for providing guidance on employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy implementation, while also supporting strategic HR initiatives.This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the Huddersfield office and 2 days working from home, offering flexibility and a collaborative working environment. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Manage and develop one HR team member. Lead on employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management. Support recruitment and onboarding processes. Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and employment law. What they are looking for Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at Advisor level or above. CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. A collaborative mindset and a passion for people and culture.
