Job Description
Job Purpose The Internal Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving growth across a designated set of enterprise accounts at Netceed. This role requires a proactive, commercially driven individual who can identify, nurture, and expand opportunities within existing customer relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Job Description Key Responsibilities • Account Growth: Drive revenue growth across a defined portfolio of enterprise accounts by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities. • New Business: Proactively target and engage non-spending or dormant accounts within the designated account list to convert them into active customers. • Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at client organisations, acting as a trusted advisor. • Sales Development : Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to design and execute account development strategies that align with client needs. • Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up on prospects. • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to position Netceed’s solutions effectively. • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions, excellent customer service, and achievement of shared goals. • Performance Tracking: Monitor account performance against growth targets and prepare regular reports for senior management. Person Specification Essential Skills and Experience • Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within enterprise markets. • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities. • Demonstrated success in growing designated accounts, ideally in technology, telecom, or infrastructure sectors. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all organisational levels. • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Desirable Skills and Experience • Experience working within telecoms, broadband, or IT distribution industries. • Knowledge of enterprise procurement and decision-making processes. • Ability to analyse data and market insights to inform strategy.
