You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business , leading the team by example and stepping up to take the reins when needed. The job in a nutshell Support the General Manager in all aspects of running the pub Lead and inspire the team to deliver excellent customer service Oversee shift operations, manage staff rotas, and handle customer feedback Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance Assist with stock control, ordering, cash handling, and daily reports Help drive sales through great service, events, and community engagement What we are looking for: Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in hospitality A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach Great communication skills and a calm, positive attitude under pressure A genuine passion for food, drink, and creating great guest experiences Strong organisational skills and a good head for numbers A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment Ready to run a pub that runs on trust and talent?
