Consumer Markets Lead Sector Architect Senior Manager / Director Level | £165,000 Package Hybrid – London (UK-wide flexibility) Shape the future of technology in the consumer world We’re looking for a strategic, client-facing Lead Sector Architect to help some of the UK’s biggest names in retail, consumer goods, and pharma redefine what’s possible through technology. You’ll bring together deep industry expertise, cutting-edge architecture, and advisory know-how to lead complex transformations across digital commerce, supply chain, and customer experience — all while steering the next wave of innovation across the Consumer Markets sector. What you’ll be doing Leading high-impact technology and architecture engagements across Retail, CPG, and related consumer sectors — from omnichannel commerce to digital supply chain optimisation. Defining “North Star” architecture visions that combine business strategy, technology innovation, and measurable business outcomes. Driving the adoption of emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Data, and Automation) to reimagine customer experience and operational resilience. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives on major transformation programmes — influencing direction, investment, and design. Building and leading cross-functional teams across architecture, delivery, and consulting, ensuring solutions stay pragmatic and outcome-focused. Experience required 10–15 years’ experience leading complex, end-to-end solution architecture across major technology and business transformation programmes. Strong background in Consumer Markets (Retail, CPG, or Retail Pharma), with practical experience shaping digital and data-driven solutions. Proven track record engaging with C-suite stakeholders — guiding strategy and governance from concept through to delivery. Expertise across architecture domains such as cloud-native platforms, microservices, data & analytics, integration, and security . Experience working with leading platforms and vendors (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe, Microsoft, AWS, Azure ). (For Director level candidates, you’ll also lead on alliance relationships, sector propositions, and business growth initiatives.)
