Job Description
Responsibilities Analyse packaging requirements, volumes, and supplier pricing to identify and implement cost reduction and process improvements Execute daily packaging procurement, manage supplier relationships for competitive pricing and quality, and track cost of sales Collaborate with Marketing, Graphics Design, Sales, and Warehouse teams to ensure packaging designs are cost-effective and order quantities align with sales forecasts Provide support to internal teams on packaging needs and cover the Procurement Manager's duties during leave Rapidly learn the costing methods of lithographic and flexible printing processes  Requirements Bachelor of Commerce qualification (BCom) and CIMA certification (Advantageous) Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar procurement or costing role, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment Advanced Excel skills and strong general numerical skills Proficiency in reporting and data analysis Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Graphics Design, Production, Sales) Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail Strong communication and relationship management skills A proactive approach to identifying cost optimisation opportunities Understanding of the packaging industry, including printing processes and material requirements (Advantageous)  Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
