American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Twin Falls, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/03/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications for a night shift assignment in a Level 3 trauma acute care setting. Responsibilities Position is in an acute care hospital within the CT Scan department Level 3 trauma environment with coverage for the entire hospital including ER and outpatients, but no IR procedures Patient population includes adults, trauma, CVA, chest, abdomen, pelvis, some pediatric and special needs cases Scans per shift average between 10 and 15 Uses 3 CT scanners (mainly Siemens, with Toshiba as backup); experience with Siemens is strongly preferred EPIC EMR and McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS are used Night shift with a 7 on/7 off schedule; 12-hour shifts Tech may be alone from 3:30 AM to 6:00 AM on some night shifts No on-call requirements Duties include all CT imaging procedures such as CVA, trauma, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and occasional pediatric or special needs scans Staff includes a manager (Monday-Thursday) and a seasoned tech on most shifts Radiologist is in-house during the day, with remote coverage overnight Caribbean Blue scrubs are required and are provided Up to three shifts of unit-specific orientation will be given Holiday coverage is not typically required; RTO must be discussed during the interview Permanent employees must be separated for one year before applying as travelers No local candidates will be considered due to the 50-mile radius rule No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests will be accepted Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience, including at least 1 prior travel assignment in CT ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required Active state license required if applicable Ability to start IVs is preferred Experience with Siemens CT equipment strongly preferred Must provide 2 professional references: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years Must submit a copy of driver’s license and documentation of active certifications Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility per radius rule Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620281.
