Responsibilities Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit Care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages Handles maternal and fetal monitoring, and assists with deliveries and cesarean sections Unit includes Level II nursery capabilities Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:30 Floating required within Maternal/Child units and as a Patient Observer (sitter) as needed Use of Cerner EMR preferred but not required Required to work 50% of holidays and 50% of weekends during the contract Responsibilities include assisting with deliveries and C-sections, medication administration, pain management, newborn care, and patient education Must provide family-centered support on postpartum recovery and breastfeeding Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to ensure safe care Annual modules are completed during orientation and recorded by the onsite manager All travelers may be required to float as a Patient Observer (sitter) in any area as assigned Dress code and scrub color details will be provided during orientation Locals within 75 miles are accepted at a reduced rate Requirements Active MO or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in Labor & Delivery Experience in Level II nursery and OR scrub preferred but not required Two professional references from a charge nurse or above required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620024.
