Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,454 per week in Orange Park, FL

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RCIS or RCES or RT(R) (or eligible to sit for the RCIS) Certifications: Required certifications as mentioned Must-Have: Advanced skills needed: - Scrubbing for ablations and device implants. - Monitoring and pacing ablation cases. Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. Number of beds in the unit is 370. Patient ratios are not applicable for procedural positions. Type of equipment includes GE Innova, Medtronic Cryoconsole, and Carto Mapping. Documentation system used is MacLab/Meditech. Scheduling requirements are for 4-10 hour shifts per week. Floating support is needed in prep/recovery area as required. Call is not required for Electrophysiology but may be picked up in Cardiac Cath Lab if desired. Electronic Medical Record used is Meditech. Weekends are not required. Procedures performed in the unit include ablative procedures (RF and Cryo), device implants, Watchman, and Micra. Newer procedure rooms and equipment are available. An engaged physician champion is part of the team. Building out a separate team from Cardiac Cath Lab staff. The working environment is friendly and supportive. The area offers many outdoor activities, including golf courses, bike trails, and historic parks. The community hosts a Fall Festival with activities for everyone.
