Travel Surgical Tech - $2,026 per week in Twin Falls, ID

Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Surgical Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours per day Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred. Experience with DaVinci systems is required. Description: The operating room has 10 suites and runs 8 rooms per day. An average of 30-40 cases are performed daily. Common cases include pediatric to geriatric surgery. Orthopedic surgeries involve total joints, ORIF, arthroscopies, and spinal procedures. General surgeries include robotics, appendectomies, and cholecystectomies. Urology procedures involve ureteroscopies and robotic prostatectomies. Gynecological surgeries include robotic hysterectomies and D&C procedures. Vascular surgeries cover fistula creations and endovascular stents. Spine surgeries include laminectomies and fusions. Podiatry and ENT procedures include sinus surgeries and thyroid operations. Charge RNs are available during the day shift. The work schedule is either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts. Weeknight call is required to cover PTO. Weekend coverage includes a second call crew during the day. Night call hours extend from Monday to Thursday and adjusted hours for weekends. Response time for call duty is 30 minutes. Floating to a nearby surgery center is required. Required attire includes blue scrubs and OR shoes or shoe covers. Unit-specific orientation is provided for travelers.
