Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist RRT NICU/PICU Schedule Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend and holiday coverage required. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a focus on Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (NICU/PICU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and a strong skill set to support patient care in a high-acuity environment. Responsibilities Administer respiratory care to high-risk neonates and pediatric patients. Perform procedures such as direct intubation and assist in high-risk deliveries. Utilize various equipment and medications for ventilation management and therapy. Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory therapies. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU/PICU setting. RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification. State licensure required.
