Job Description

Description: Logistics Coordination & Support Provide daily administrative support and coordinate delivery schedules and dispatch. Plan routes, optimize vehicle use, and ensure compliance with delivery standards. Carrier & Transport Management Assist in managing transport providers and daily communication with carriers. Monitor service performance and escalate delays to maintain efficiency. Documentation & Recordkeeping Prepare and file delivery notes, invoices, and PODs accurately. Maintain shipment records and generate reports for audits and invoicing. Communication & Customer Service Serve as liaison between customers and transporters for updates and issues. Communicate delivery changes promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. General Administration & Compliance Support fleet administration, stock movement, and maintenance scheduling. Uphold health, safety, and quality standards in all logistics operations. Core Skills & Attributes Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Proactive, customer-focused, tech-savvy, and adaptable under pressure. Comfortable using ERP systems, Excel, and logistics tracking software. Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric (required). A qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (advantageous). 24 years of experience in a logistics, transport, or warehouse administration role (wholesale or FMCG environment preferred). Working knowledge of logistics software, order tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid drivers license (advantageous).
