Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,680 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) Location: Washington Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 4x10 Days (7:00a–5:30p or 7:30a–6:00p) Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Position Details Department: Interventional Radiology Environment: Acute Care / Level III Trauma Call Requirements: 1–2 weeknights per week (6p–7a) 1 weekend per month (Fri 6p–Mon 7a) 30-minute response time Holiday Coverage: If holiday falls on a scheduled shift or call day Scrubs Provided Orientation: 1 week with preceptor after hospital onboarding Job Duties Perform all aspects of interventional radiology procedures including neuro IR, vascular, and general IR Scrub and circulate for all IR cases (RNs start IVs) Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Operate and maintain imaging equipment and sterile field setup Maintain accurate procedure documentation in hospital systems Department Overview 3 total IR rooms: 2 biplane, 1 single plane (stroke room kept open) Hybrid OR involvement possible (not required) Average 10–20 procedures/day , plus 1–4 stroke cases per week Staffed with 2 IR Techs per room and an on-call team (2 IR Techs, 2 RNs) Systems used: Cerner EMR , GE Centricity RIS , Philips Intellispace PACS Equipment: Philips Requirements Active Washington State License (must be in hand) ARRT (R) and BLS required IV certification preferred Minimum 1 year of IR experience (travel experience strongly preferred) Experience in a stroke-receiving facility required .
