Senior Electrician

Job Description Job Description This role is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production instrumentation, electrical wiring, control equipment, and auxiliary systems in a manufacturing facility. The position requires supporting engineering and operations with equipment design, testing, calibration, and system improvements while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes. The candidate will work on complex electrical systems such as PLCs, VFDs, ATS, and communication networks, while also handling calibration, spare parts management, and classified area installations. The role also involves inventory management, documentation, and adherence to environmental and safety policies. Job Requirements: Minimum 10 years of directly related experience; technical certification or higher degree in Instrumentation/Controls may substitute for experience. Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA70, and hazardous location requirements. Hands-on expertise with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, calibration tools, and troubleshooting complex systems. Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; E2 electrical license strongly preferred. Ability to install and maintain electrical conduit, wiring, and general factory components. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and documenting system modifications.
