Junior Financial Manager

This role offers exposure to the full finance function; from cash management and reporting to budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory submissions. Key Responsibilities: Manage cashbook processing and perform bank reconciliations Oversee debtors, creditors, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance Prepare statutory and regulatory submissions, including VAT, PAYE, MIBFA, and Stats SA Consolidate and manage B-BBEE compliance data across departments Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making Support cost management initiatives and assist with inventory valuation Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reporting accuracy Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 12 years experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis (internship experience considered) CA(SA) qualification or progress towards it (advantageous) Proficiency in SAGE Evolution and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Understanding of financial compliance and reporting standards Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities Apply now!
