Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Export Operations & Customs Clearance Manager to oversee all outbound shipment documentation, registration, and customs clearance processes. The successful candidate will ensure timely and compliant clearance of goods while maintaining exceptional quality standards and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee registration and framing of export entries, ensuring accuracy of exporter and consignee details. Manage the preparation and verification of export documentation (invoices, clearance forms, pro-formas). Ensure compliance with ISO standards and global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Liaise effectively with customs officials, freight partners, and internal teams to resolve shipment or clearance issues promptly. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, airlines, warehouses, and airport personnel. Conduct quality control checks on all documentation prior to submission. Supervise batching and ensure all documentation is ready for submission before daily cut-off times. Oversee the clearance of all prepared bills of entry through customs in a timely and compliant manner. Manage and mentor team members, promoting efficiency and adherence to operational standards. Minimum Requirements: 5–7 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within the express logistics or courier export environment. Proven expertise in customs clearance and documentation processes. Strong understanding of customs regulations, tariff codes, and export procedures. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Relevant qualification in Customs Clearance , Logistics , or related field (post-matric qualification required).
