Head of Fit-Out & Carpentry

Key Responsibilities Lead the setup of the carpentry workshop, including layout design, equipment selection, and supplier partnerships. Oversee full-cycle fit-out projects, from design development to installation and client handover. Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with designers/clients to translate concepts into buildable solutions. Manage customer relationships, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction. Recruit, train, and supervise carpentry and installation teams. Ensure quality workmanship in carpentry fabrication and installation (cabinetry, joinery, partitions, fixtures). Source sustainable, cost-effective materials and manage supplier relationships. Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality benchmarks. Drive innovation in materials, finishes, and fit-out methods to enhance design and execution. Requirements Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in carpentry and fit-out, with proven leadership in workshop and on-site execution. Strong technical knowledge of joinery, carpentry, and modern woodworking techniques (CNC proficiency preferred). Hands-on ability in carpentry, with experience in both fabrication and installation. Solid understanding of interior design principles and ability to bridge design with buildability. Certification in Carpentry and Interior Fit-Out required. Track record of handling clients directly, including project scoping, budgeting, and delivery. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
