We deliver two award-winning, story-based learning programs for kids aged 6 months to 11 years: Chess at Three – teaches chess to children as young as three through storytelling and play Birchguard Quest – a fantasy roleplaying game for ages 6–11 that builds collaboration, confidence, and communication With over 150,000 children taught globally, we're growing fast and looking for passionate leaders to help us deepen our impact in Singapore. About the Role Head of Operations Chess at Three Singapore is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead and optimise our day-to-day operations to support growth, and ensure exceptional and consistent service delivery across all programs. You will oversee day-to-day operations, provide team leadership, customer experience, and growth execution in line with our mission to bring our distinctive fun & engaging chess lessons to children across Singapore. Operational Leadership: Design and implement systems/ SOPs to streamline and optimise operations across all camps/ classes, venues, and events, while ensuring a high level of quality and consistency in execution. Establish and track operational metrics (e.g. student growth, retention, utilization, customer satisfaction, quality scores). Growth & Expansion: Support strategic expansion into new markets, venues, and offerings. Team Management: Lead, train and develop operational, sales and teaching staff; foster a high-performance culture, including to design, implement and track KPIs across staff members to ensure accountability. Customer Experience: Oversee parent/ partner communication, satisfaction, and retention, and drive initiatives that enhance the brand promise and parent/stakeholder satisfaction. Logistics management: Ensure venues, equipment, materials, and supplies are fit-for-purpose and available. Oversee logistics and inventory of clubs, camps, events, tournaments. Finance & Budgeting: Manage operating budget, monitor performance metrics, and drive cost efficiency. Risk, Compliance & governance: Ensure policies and procedures comply to industry standards & Singapore law/ regulations, and are documented, communicated, and adhered to. Requirements / Experience Experience: At least 5 years in operations leadership roles, experience in building/ scaling companies is a plus. Ex-consultants may also apply. Strong track record of managing multi-location operations, team leadership, and delivering both operational and financial targets. Excellent communication skills; adept at cross-team collaboration with academic, marketing, finance, HR teams. Analytical mindset; comfortable with data, performance metrics. Strong sense of quality, customer / parent‑oriented mindset. Adaptability, high energy, ability to work in a fast‑growing / changing environment. Singaporean/ PR preferred J-18808-Ljbffr
