Pay Information $2,002 per week About The Position ID: 73038615 Shift: 12H Nights EOW, Every other holiday, first to float Description: Unit : UnitMed-Tele Acute/ Obs and Swingbed*Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS*NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT- of Beds: 19- Ratios: 1:3-6- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Acute and Swingbed - pneumonia, rehab, COPD, CHF, pancreatitis, GI bleed- Experience or 'Must have' skills: IV starts, telemetry, NG, foley insertion- How many years experience required?: 1- Previous travel experience required?: No- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: No- Common titratable &/or set rate drips:- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift?: No- Does the charge nurse take an assignment?:n/a- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Duties?: Yes we have one CNA per shift - they do the personal cares, vitals, weights- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.): All of those- Are RNs required to do anything with RT equipment besides trouble shoot?: Yes they need to set it up and be competent with Bipap, Cpap, HFNC- Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit?: no- Are RNs required to read their own strips?: yes- What brand are the tele monitors?: Mindray- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
