Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/13/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts with strong experience in trauma, angiograms, and advanced CT procedures. Responsibilities Work in a large hospital setting with a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU CT department serves inpatient, outpatient, adult, and occasional pediatric cases Patient load averages 4 patients per hour and about 40 patients per day 1:1 patient ratio per technologist Perform procedures including biopsy drainage, trauma protocols, angiograms, and stroke perfusion All CT equipment is GE Cerner is the EMR used Night shift schedule is Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM Floating required throughout various areas of the main Radiology department Weekend rotation typically once a month, subject to departmental needs Holiday coverage includes one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy, not guaranteed off Position requires working both with inpatient and outpatient populations, including occasional pediatric cases Orientation consists of one 8-hour hospital session plus 2-3 shifts on unit with another technologist Previous permanent staff must wait 6 months to be considered for travel positions Voluntary on-call is available No local candidates permitted within a 60-mile radius Scrub requirements will follow hospital dress code Requirements Current BLS and ARRT certifications required ARRT-CT required State license preferred (license required if applicable) At least 1 year of relevant CT experience with required skills; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years’ experience Strong skills in biopsy drainage, trauma CT, angiograms required Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred Must be able to use GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-608799.
