Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/13/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced with trauma protocols, ARRT-CT certification, and strong stroke perfusion skills for night shifts. Responsibilities Work in a Level II Trauma Center with a main Radiology department covering multiple areas Care for inpatient and outpatient adult patients, with occasional pediatric outpatients and ED cases Typical caseload is 4 patients per hour, averaging 40 patients per day with 1:1 patient ratios Procedures include CT-guided biopsy drainage, trauma imaging, angiograms, and stroke perfusion studies Utilizes all GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR, with EMR experience preferred Schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am, Thursday through Saturday Floating required throughout the Radiology department within hospital Weekend and holiday coverage varies per department needs and hospital policy Voluntary on-call coverage is available Position requires participation in hospital and unit orientation alongside another technologist on day shift Must be able to float throughout different areas of the Radiology department as needed Scrub color is flexible; any color accepted Free parking is provided A 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within this distance are not eligible Former permanent staff must wait at least 6 months before returning as a traveler One major and one minor holiday coverage required per hospital policy Requirements Current ARRT with CT credential required Current BLS certification required At least 1 year of CT experience with trauma, or 2 years experience for first-time travelers Strong experience with CT biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram, and stroke perfusion State license preferred; license required if applicable Comfort working with both adult and some pediatric patient populations Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-608798.
