Our mojo: We think big, act fast, and build something meaningful. Role Overview: As a Legal Manager , you will be a key legal business partner to commercial, product, data, and operations teams. You will provide practical and strategic legal advice with a strong focus on commercial contracts, compliance, data protection, and privacy . This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced and evolving environment , where you will balance legal rigor with commercial pragmatism to enable business outcomes and manage risk. Your Mission: 1. Commercial Contracts & Business Support Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (e.g., media services, technology partnerships, vendor contracts, data-sharing agreements). Support business development and partnership teams with contract strategy and risk mitigation advice. Provide clear, solutions-oriented guidance to enable fast decision-making in commercial negotiations. 2. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Monitor and implement compliance programs in key areas such as advertising, consumer protection, competition, and corporate governance. Support the development and rollout of policies, procedures, and training to ensure company-wide compliance awareness. Advise on regulatory changes impacting retail media and digital advertising operations. 3. Privacy & Data Protection Act as a key advisor on privacy and data governance matters, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations. Help the DPO in his compliance mission including PIA, BCR, internal training program, transfer’s DPA, security measures, etc. Draft and negotiate data processing agreements and advise on cross-border data transfer requirements. Partner with product and tech teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into new products and services. 4. Strategic Business Partnering Work closely with senior stakeholders to align legal strategies with business goals. Serve as a trusted advisor to commercial teams, balancing legal risks with commercial realities. Contribute proactively to strategic initiatives, product launches, and new business models. What we’re looking for: Qualifications & Experience: Law degree 5 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal team (experience in media, advertising, retail, or tech sector preferred). Proven expertise in commercial contracts, compliance, and privacy/data protection. Skills & Attributes: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable business advice. Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent stakeholder management skills — confident collaborating with business, product, and technology teams. Agile and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment. Strong communication and negotiation skills with a collaborative and pragmatic style. Fluent in French and English.
