Job Title: Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Wednesbury Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) dependent on experience and relevant qualifications Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday (Full Time/Part Time) Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Axcis Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSAs) to work at a very friendly school in Wednesbury (WS10). The school are specifically looking for an outgoing and caring individual who has previous experience with severe ASD supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in smaller groups with their day to day lessons. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: * Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including ASD, Makaton, PECS * Assist the class teacher in adapting learning materials to meet individual student needs * Provide emotional and behavioural support to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment * Encourage social interaction and engagement in classroom activities * Promote positive behaviour and encourage students to participate in classroom activities * Support teachers in managing the classroom and helping with lesson preparation.
