Quality Assurance - Vehicle Analysis

Market-related salary benefits A 6-month temp position is immediately available in the Quality Assurance Vehicle Analysis Department for a qualified Metrology / QA specialist to assist with dimensional analysis, part approval, and vehicle quality improvements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct precise dimensional measurement of vehicle components to verify conformity to technical drawings. Support part approval processes for internal and external supplier parts. Perform dimensional analysis and problem-solving to resolve production concerns and enhance overall product quality. Execute dimensional approval of vehicle components in line with PEP milestones. Support external suppliers to ensure accurate metrology methods and compliance with ISO/VDA standards. Minimum Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. 5 years experience in Metrology measurement (Tactile or Optical). 5 years experience using measuring software (PC-DMIS, GOM, or PolyWorks). Proven CMM programming (offline and teaching) expertise. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of CAD software (Catia preferred). Understanding of CMM maintenance and TPM principles. Ability to interpret technical drawings and design measuring fixtures . Solid understanding of the vehicle manufacturing process (Press Shop, Body Shop, Assembly, Purchase Parts). Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability. Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
