Job Description

Tertiary qualification essential combined with at least 5 years experience in similar environment. Supervise day-to-day operations of the abattoir, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards Coordinate slaughtering processes, meat inspection, packaging, and dispatch Maintain compliance with veterinary, food safety, and health regulations Manage abattoir staff, including shift scheduling and performance monitoring Monitor inventory of supplies and ensure timely replenishment Maintain accurate records of production and inspection outcomes Liaise with veterinary officers and other regulatory bodies Enforce proper waste management and environmental compliance
