Key Job Details – Labor & Delivery RN Location: Everett, WA (Pacific campus) – Washington healthcare jobs Setting: Level III Obstetrical Unit, Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Employment Type: Travel Nursing Start Date: December 1, 2025 End Date: March 2, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00) Hours per Week: 36 Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 per week (contract approved) Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2010 - $2160 Orientation: Three days in the first week Charting: EPIC electronic medical records Scrub Color: Any (except reddish orange) Parking: Facility paid Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN experience (preferably in facilities with 200 deliveries/month; will consider 100-200 deliveries/month) Active Registered Nurse license (WA or Compact State) Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP (AWHONN Advanced and Relias Fetal Monitoring also accepted) Proficiency with EPIC charting system Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) Willingness to float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years Commitment to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Must reside 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) Pending RN license accepted Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver expert nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns in a high-volume unit (400 births in summer) Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units as needed Assist with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum care Perform and document patient assessments, interventions, and education Administer medications, blood products, and manage IVs Support breastfeeding, lactation, and discharge teaching for parents Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including providers, CNAs, surgical techs, and support staff Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation Maintain compliance with facility protocols and safety standards Ready to make a difference in a supportive, fast-paced healthcare environment?
