Bemidji, MN Nursing Job Details Location: Bemidji, Minnesota 56601 Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 20, 2025 – January 19, 2026) Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, Pediatrics, GYN, Med-Surg overflow Shift: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (variable schedule, every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2240 - $2400 Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Minnesota RN license (or willingness to obtain temporary and permanent MN licensure within 24 hours of offer acceptance) Minimum 2 years of recent OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience (including Postpartum and Pediatrics) Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP certifications required EPIC EMR experience preferred; other EMR experience considered Willingness to float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed Ability to provide nursing care in Labor, Postpartum, Nursery, Pediatrics, and GYN settings At least 1 year of overall RN experience required Key Responsibilities for L&D RN Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, newborns, pediatric, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow patients Float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as required by union contract Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including ward clerks, CNAs, charge/resource nurses, and LPN scrub nurses Utilize clinical equipment such as EPIC One Chart, Acudose, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Responder 5 Call light system, and Medfusion Pumps Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold patient safety standards Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical training Join our healthcare team in Bemidji, Minnesota and experience rewarding nursing jobs while enjoying the best of northern Minnesota living.
