Industrial Engineer – Warehouse Layout & ROI Analysis

ABOUT THE ROLE Key Responsibilities 1.Warehouse Layout Planning: Design warehouse layouts for new facilities and redesign existing layouts for renovation projects. Optimize picking, packing and shipping areas to reduce travel time, improve ergonomics and maximize space utilization. 2.Material Flow Optimization: Analyze inbound, put-away, picking and outbound processes; optimize material flow and work areas to increase efficiency. 3.Time Studies: Conduct detailed time studies and work sampling to establish and maintain standard operating times. 4.Capacity & ROI Analysis: Develop cost–benefit and ROI models for layout changes, automation investments and process improvements. 5.New Project Support: Provide IE support for new warehouse start-ups, process changes and layout integrations. 6.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, safety, IT and automation teams to ensure smooth implementation of changes. Requirements 1.Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Operations Management or related fields. 2.5 years of experience in warehouse IE, layout design or process improvement. 3.Familiarity with IE tools such as time studies, motion studies and capacity balancing. 4.Proficient in AutoCAD/Visio for layout design and Excel/Power BI for data analysis and reporting. 5.Strong numerical analysis and ROI modeling skills. 6.Excellent cross-department communication and coordination skills. 7.Good command of spoken and written English.
