AI, LLM, NLP & Machine Learning Manager | Engineering and Project Management | Salary to €75k p/a | Contract or Permanent | Madrid or Barcelona | Hybrid remote WFH Hybrid working 3 days in office, 2 days WFH We’re looking for experienced leaders who want to play a key role in delivering cutting-edge AI and LLM solutions. You’ll be joining a fast-paced environment, working with global experts on projects that push the boundaries of artificial intelligence, quantum-inspired optimization, and large-scale machine learning. Two vacancies available: Job1 - Technical Project Manager: Permanent full-time employment contract. Working in Madrid or Barcelona until June 2026 and then relocating full time to San Sebastian, Basque Country Job2 - Engineering Manager: Temporary fixed term employment contract until June 2026 only, based in either Madrid or Barcelona What you’ll do Lead and motivate cross-functional technical teams, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and high-quality delivery. Translate complex business requirements into actionable roadmaps for AI and LLM initiatives. Oversee the full lifecycle of advanced ML projects — from scoping and planning to deployment. Guide engineers with strong technical awareness, ensuring best practices in workflows, architecture, and delivery. Monitor performance, resolve blockers, and align priorities with strategic goals. Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support the growth of team members through mentorship, feedback, and structured career development. What we’re looking for Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred). 4 years’ experience delivering ML, NLP, or software-driven projects in industry. 2 years’ proven success managing engineering teams or end-to-end technical projects. Hands-on familiarity with Python, Git, Docker, CI/CD, and agile delivery methodologies. Strong understanding of modern software/ML engineering practices, with the ability to guide and challenge technical decisions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English. (Bonus) Direct experience with LLMs, NLP, generative AI, or advanced model compression.
