Technical After Sales/Service Manager (Valves)

Our client a leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation, and services for different industries. They are leaders in the pulp, paper, and energy industries, but with their automation systems and flow control solutions , they have presence in a lot more industries. Given the growth plan that they have for the upcoming years, we’re looking for a: Technical After Sales/Service Manager (Valves) We are looking for a dynamic After Sales Manager to lead Valmet’s Service Center and support the development of their Flow Control Sales team . The position is based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona , and covers the Spanish market . Knowledge of valves is essential. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery and continuous improvement of after-sales services, while promoting customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards. We are looking for Technical After Sales to drive service excellence and growth in our industrial operations. In this role, you will collaborate with Sales and Services teams to deliver tailored solutions, optimize service performance, manage budgets, and lead a team of service professionals. You will also maintain the customer Installed Base, implement service agreements, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in after-sales or service operations. Strong skills in service planning, team leadership, contract management, and customer service are essential.
