Job Title: CT / X-Ray Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Overnight Weekend Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: CT Registered Certifications: Preferred trauma and stroke IV skills Must-Have: Candidates must have CT registration. Candidates should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently. Description: This position focuses on performing CT and X-ray procedures. The unit consists of 3 CT scanners, with plans for expansion. The team includes a mix of full-time, part-time, and PRN staff. Staffing includes a charge tech during the day, with 2 techs scheduled for the night shift. Patient procedures performed in this unit include stroke, trauma, head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and CTA. The work environment is characterized by a positive attitude and a strong focus on customer service. Good communication skills are essential for this role. The facility operates advanced scanning technology, including a 512-slice scanner and multiple 128-slice scanners. The unit has recently acquired new equipment to enhance patient care and workflow.
