Low Voltage Lead Technician (5yrs Exp. Required)

Job Description Job Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Adhere to and enforce Company policies regarding safety, ethics, conduct and appearance · Maintain good, business-like relations with other trades, suppliers and clients · Consult with Project Manager or Operations Assistant regarding new work order requests and scheduling · Investigate each work order to review documentation, understand system type and develop a plan of execution. If needed, coordinate with PM/ops assistant in preparation for dispatch and to complete work orders efficiently. Utilize remote programming to maximize efficiency · Verify availability of job materials daily, and follow all warehouse processes for checking out materials for projects · Check steps in all installation processes for efficiency and quality. Propose new processes or suggest modification to existing processes to improve company effectiveness · Accountable timely completion of wiring, installation and troubleshooting of all scheduled work orders. Define all blocks to completion and coordinate with project manager to schedule additional time on site as needed · First point of escalation for field crews scheduled at assigned projects. Support on-site or remotely. Escalate to Project/Field managers when necessary · Attempt to resolve any client request or complaint before notifying the Project Manager · Provide comprehensive field updates each day on job progress, open items and suggested next steps · When necessary provide detailed T&M tickets to project manager for prompt billing · Read, interpret and detail construction documents including architectural/electrical plans and elevations, as-built markups, device specifications and wiring schematics · Initiate change order requests with Project Manager/Operations Department as project requirements expand beyond (or below) the approved scopes · Develop layouts, checklists, wiring diagrams and other project documentation for field execution and preprogramming · Adhere to all Warehouse policies and guidelines to ensure proper allocation and sign-in/out of all job materials and equipment · Seek out opportunities to improve methods, processes and procedures to benefit the company, coworkers or clients · Act in a proactive manner to find better and more efficient ways of improving operations to increase the company profit · When requested, train other employees · Perform all other tasks, within job requirements, as assigned by Field Managers and COO Company Description About Powerfull Systems Inc.: Powerfull Systems offers a range of valuable services and benefits to Direct Clients, Architects, General Contractors, Designers, Electricians, and other professionals in the trade.
