Service Engineer/Technician

Job Title: Service Engineer/Technician Location: Loiret, France Contract Length: 6 months – initial Rate: depending on experience We are urgently recruiting for a Service Engineer / Customer Support Engineer for our client, in Loiret, France. This full-time, onsite role (ideally 4 days a week) is to cover a maternity leave, with an immediate start preferred. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of laboratory instruments such as HPLC/GC, centrifuges, and biosafety cabinets, ensuring optimal instrument performance and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of instruments onsite Diagnosing and repairing multi-vendor laboratory equipment Managing spare parts inventory and documenting interventions Delivering technical training and proposing process improvements Ensuring compliance with QHSE and quality standards Key experience and requirements: Bachelors Degree in a Science field (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Electronics) or equivalent experience Strong technical knowledge of lab equipment (HPLC/GC, centrifuges, biosafety cabinets, etc.) Proven troubleshooting and repair skills in a laboratory or pharma environment Ability to deliver technical training in English Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the site Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting Interested?
