HGV Class 1 Driver

DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Appleton Thorn, Warrington. Our client was established as a partnership in 2000 to provide drivers and vehicles to local companies. The organisation quickly expanded and in 2001 the Limited Company was formed, and the decision was taken to provide direct transport and distribution services. Continual expansion has seen the fleet expand to twenty 20 vehicles and further partnerships have enabled the Company to offer transport solutions throughout the UK, Southern Ireland and the European mainland. This role is a temporary position. Duties: Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently Up to 1 to 5 drops Deliveries Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance Requirements: Current CPC Licence Current Digital Tachograph Licence An effective team member who works well on their own initiative Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable Excellent timekeeping and communication skills Hours/Remuneration: Days - Monday to Friday (6am starts) - £16.00 to £24.00 per hour Nights Monday to Friday - £17.00 to £25.50 per hour Working for an agency can be a beneficial way of having a flexible working arrangement, giving you the freedom to enjoy a better work/life balance.
