Job Description Job Description Traveling Superintendent (Grocery Remodel Focus) – Northern California/Northern Nevada A leading general contractor with a strong pipeline of grocery and retail projects is seeking Traveling Superintendents to support work throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada. Immediate openings are available for experienced superintendents who can manage fast-paced remodels in live store environments. Home base strongly preferred: Northern Nevada (Reno, Carson City) or Northern California Key Responsibilities: Manage grocery store construction and open-store remodel projects Oversee all on-site operations, including subcontractor management, quality control, scheduling, and site safety Coordinate work in live, operational environments with minimal disruption to customers Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to company quality standards Maintain daily communication with project managers, clients, and store owners Willingness to work night shifts or off-hours when required for remodels Qualifications: MUST have experience with grocery store construction or live/open-store remodels Experience with fast-paced retail tenant improvements highly preferred Open to both emerging and senior-level superintendents with relevant experience Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills Reliable and polished; able to represent the company professionally on active job sites Comfortable traveling to projects primarily within Northern California and Northern Nevada (all travel costs covered) Compensation & Benefits: Base salary up to $120,000 Monthly vehicle allowance of $300 Travel expenses paid (lodging, meals, incidentals while away from home base) Robust project pipeline through 2025 and beyond Additional Requirements : Candidates must provide a project list detailing relevant grocery/remodel experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship STWI For more information please contact kdiperno@fuzehr.com
