Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,726 per week in Denton, TX

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: RCIS, ACLS, R.T., ARRT, R.T. (R) Certifications: RN, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience in scrubbing and ability to pan. - Cath Lab Techs with the required certifications. Description: The unit consists of two cath labs, one EP lab, and one interventional radiology neuro lab. There are seven staff members in the Cath/EP lab and six in the IR Neuro lab. The day shift includes four techs and three RNs in Cath/EP and three techs and three RNs in IR Neuro. Patient-to-staff ratios are maintained at 1:1. Equipment includes a temporary pacemaker, intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, Penumbra, Shockwave, IVUS, IFR, and monitoring/imaging systems. The electronic medical record system utilized is Mac Lab/Meditech. The typical procedures performed include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations and interventional radiology. The ideal candidate should possess an assertive personality. Rotating call is required, with participation after hours and on weekends approximately 50% of the month. Candidates with experience in electrophysiology and interventional radiology will be prioritized.
