Weekend Coverage in a Level III NICU in New York This locum tenens assignment offers the ideal per diem opportunity for a Neonatology physician in New York seeking to supplement their income with weekend coverage. We are seeking a board-certified physician to provide short-term support in a Level III NICU. Highlights Weekend-only shifts are available to fit your schedule Travel and lodging accommodations are provided Malpractice insurance is included No neonate transfers are required for this assignment Practice Setting Level III NICU with 16 beds Admissions average 0-2 per shift You will be responsible for supervising RNs and other ancillary staff as needed Schedule Part-time and per diem options are available Temporary coverage is needed for 12 or 24-hour shifts Weekend coverage is the primary need Procedures and Cases Perform chest tube insertion, UAC/UVC placement, and LPs Manage invasive (ETT) and non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP) ventilation Required to attend C-sections and cover the Level I nursery Requirements Must be board certified in Neonatology Must have an active NY license Must have experience managing patients independently Ready to learn more?
